About our gates

All gates supplied and fitted by us are hand crafted from the finest materials and are purpose built for automation. Just like a house the support for the gates is the most important consideration when installing automatic gates.

Design

Our sample designs are for inspiration only they are to give you an idea of what can be achieved. The location, use size of opening, angle of opening and the decoration required on the gates are all considerations from the outset of any installation.

All our gates are produced within our factory, using traditional and modern production methods. All gates are supplied fully protected from the elements by galvanising and powder coating to any RAL colour request

Finishing

Galvanising is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel or iron, to prevent rusting. The most common method is hot-dip galvanizing, in which the parts are submerged in a bath of molten zinc.

This prevents corrosive substances from reaching the underlying steel or iron.

Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. Unlike conventional liquid paint which is delivered via an evaporating solvent, powder coating is typically applied electrostatically and then cured under heat. The powder may be a thermoplastic or a thermoset polymer. It is usually used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint. Powder coating is mainly used for coating of metals

Galvanising is carried out in accordance with BS EN 1S0 1461 and all powder coating BS EN 15773

Because powder coating does not have a liquid carrier, it can produce thicker coatings than conventional liquid coatings without running or sagging, and powder coating produces minimal appearance differences between horizontally coated surfaces and vertically coated surfaces.
