This gate was manufactured for a prestigious client in the Kinrosshire area. The major construction of a fantastic mansion house was still in progress when this security gate was installed. With expensive finishing products being incorporated to the property, it was vital the main entrance was completed, to allow undisturbed and continuous work to be carried out.

High in the hills of Gourock, the only solution to install a security gate here was the cantilever system

Full steel traditional type gate installed in Ayrshire for premier house builder ‘HENRY HOMES’. The sliding gate was the solution to save valuable parking space in the drive way and allow a tight, sharp right turn in the clients home.

This gate was manufactured for a client whose property stood on a very steep hill. The cantilever system was the only solution to the problem of the gate sliding into thin air over a deep gorge.

An excellent view showing the heavy gate being self supported by the cantilever rollers, thus having no need to use any of the stone pillars as supports

Lightweight cantilever gate automated with 24v motor battery backup is available for power cuts.

Another fine example of a traditional ‘estate style gate’ manufactured to look like a pair of inward swing gates when in the closed position. Auto Gates used our preferred building contractors to construct the beautiful stone work, to conceal the ‘overhang’ section required for the cantilever system.

This shows how the gate appears from the ‘visitor’ side, a beautiful front and first impression to any home.

Superb example of our craftsmanship. This client thought that he would not be able to get automation equipment at his property. As you can see the cantilever gate system was installed and works perfectly. When the gate is open it sits over the water.

The sheer length of the gate means it’s only possible to run it after construction with the full front door open.

Another fine example of a cantilever system overcoming the uneven ground between the gate pillars. A traditional track sliding gate would not have been possible here without major reconstruction of the roadway.

6M opening car park gate in Glasgow City Centre. The clients had recently constructed 18 flats and we were asked to design and build a system for the new residents. Swing gates would have eliminated 4 car parking spaces; the cantilever system was the perfect solution.

This video shows a gate under construction at the Auto Gates premises. Before the gate is sent for galvanising and powder coating it is actually brought to ‘working order’ after completion. This is to insure the smooth running of the cantilever rollers and correct positioning of open and close limit switches
